The Amnesic Incognito Live System (aka Tails) project has announced availability of Tails 2.5, latest bug fix release of Debian based GNU/Linux distribution that offers anonymity and security while using internet services. Tails includes Tor Web browser and several other tools to route user's traffic in a secure way.
Latest release of Tails, Tails 2.5 comes with several bug fixes including serious security fixes. So it is highly recommended to upgrade to this release. Tails 2.5 includes Tor browser 6.0.3 which is based on Mozilla Firefox 45.3 and also Icedove 45.1. Icedove is Debian package for Mozilla Thunderbird email client.

- The automatic account configuration of Icedove used to freeze when connecting to some email providers.
- In some cases sending an email with Icedove used to result in the error: "The message could not be sent using Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.riseup.net for an unknown reason."
