We are thrilled to announce today that the final version of the
uGet
2.0 download manager has been released for GNU/Linux operating systems,
available for download right now for Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora-based
distributions.
After a long development cycle that included no more
than eleven development releases, uGet 2.0 has been moved to the stable
channel and it's ready to manage all your downloads in style, no matter
the Linux operating system used.
While there's no official announcement on the
application's website at the moment of writing this article, we can tell
you that uGet 2.0 includes numerous attractive features, such as a new
settings dialog, better BitTorrent and Metalink support in the aria2
plugin, and support for uGet RSS messages in the banner.
