The Solus operating system is getting closer to a stable release and its developers are showing off some of the capabilities of the distro, including the boot time, which has got to be the most impressive result out there.It's been a while since we really cared about boot times for Linux distros. Ever since the appearance of SSD drives, boot times for operating systems no longer matter all that much. Many users also have copious amounts of RAM, so it doesn't take a long time to boot. Well, from the looks of it, Solus is capable of booting up in 1.2 seconds, and that is an incredible feat.
