Mr of Lubuntu community has announced release of Lubuntu 16.04.1, first point release of Lubuntu 16.04 released earlier this year. Lubuntu is an Ubuntu based GNU/Linux distribution that comes with LXDE and is capable to revive old computers and computers with less hardware resources.
Lubuntu 16.04.1 brings all updated packages since release of Lubuntu 16.04, and people who install these images don't have to download all these update packages. Also, this release fixes several bugs reported in base release and provide a more stable platform.

Thanks to all the hard work from our contributors, we are pleased to announce that Lubuntu 16.04.1 LTS has been released!
