Linux Mint developers announced release of Linux Mint 17.2 with code name 'Rafaela'. Similar to previous Mint distributions, Linux Mint is also based on Ubuntu 14.04.x LTS and will continue to provide till 2019. As convention of Linux Mint, new release is also has got two flavors, featuring Cinnamon and MATE desktops. Linux Mint 17.2 features Cinnamon 2.6 and MATE 1.10.
