Patrick Emmabuntus had
the pleasure of informing Softpedia about a new maintenance release of
his Emmabuntüs 3 Linux distribution, which is now based on the upstream
Xubuntu LTS operating system.
The new release, Emmabuntüs 3 1.01, is based on
Xubuntu 14.04.2 LTS (Trusty Tahr), updates various add-ons for the
pre-installed Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Google Chrome
applications, and updates the Language Tool within LibreOffice to
version 2.8.
“The Emmabuntüs Team is pleased to announce the new
Emmabuntüs 3 1.01 (32 and 64 bit) based on Xubuntu 14.04.2,” says
Patrick Emmabuntus. “This distribution was designed to be used for
refurbishing the computers given to humanitarian organizations,
especially Emmaüs communities”
