Tails 1.3 Released

Tails, the amnestic incognito live system, version 1.3 is available now. Tails Linux 1.3 comes with a lot of bug fixes. Tails team recommends all users to upgrade to newer version as soon as possible.

Following section is dedicated to list some features and changes made in Tails 1.3

New Features In Tails 1.3

• Electrum an easy to use bitcoin wallet is introduced in in Tails 1.3. Bitcoin Client persistence feature can be used to store Electrum configuration and wallet.
• Tor Browser included in Tails 1.3 has additional operating system and data security features. This security restricts read/write operations on some folders
• The obfs4 pluggable transport is now available to connect to Tor bridges. Pluggable transports transform the Tor traffic between the client and the bridge to help disguise Tor traffic from censors.
• Keyringer include in Tails 1.3 allows to manage and share secrets using OpenPGP and GIT from command line.
