Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus final beta released with other community flavors

Ubuntu development team has announced release of Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus beta 2 along with other community flavors. This will be the final development release prior to upcoming stable release with code name Zesty Zapus. This release announcement is also applicable for other official community flavors of Ubuntu such Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu GNOME, Ubuntu MATE and the new comer Ubuntu Budgie.

Ubuntu Budgie, a new member of Ubuntu family ships latest release of budgie desktop, ie, v10.2.9 and it is integrated with GNOME 3.24 applications along with GTK+ 3.24 based mutter window manager. It also provides Gtk native theme support of Qt based applications. Also, Appindicator applet developed by the Ubuntu Budgie team is a default feature in this release. Other Ubuntu flavors also brings recent technologies to provide a reliable and secure system for end users. Some notable highlights in these release includes GNOME 3.24 stack and associated applications, Linux Kernel 4.10 ..etc.
The Ubuntu team is pleased to announce the final beta release of theUbuntu 17.04 Desktop, Server, and Cloud products.

Codenamed "Zesty Zapus", 17.04 continues Ubuntu's proud tradition ofintegrating the latest and greatest open source technologies into ahigh-quality, easy-to-use Linux distribution.

The team has been hardat work through this cycle, introducing new features and fixing bugs.This beta release includes images from not only the Ubuntu Desktop,Server, and Cloud products, but also the Kubuntu, Lubuntu, UbuntuGNOME, UbuntuKylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Studio, and Xubuntu flavours.

We're also pleased with this release to welcome Ubuntu Budgie to thefamily of Ubuntu community flavours.
