SteamOS developers announced availability of new update for SteamOS Alchemist Beta, a GNU/Linux distribution targeting serious game players.
According to Release Announcement, following are changes introduced by new update of SteamOS.
- debian-installer - update kernel version to 3.10.5
- nvidia-graphics-drivers - Updated NVIDIA drivers to 346.35.
- plymouth-themes-steamos - Add support for OEM branding, add missing plymouth-themes dependency
- plymouth-themes-steamos-branding-alienware - Add package for Alienware splash branding.
