The Ubuntu Budgie team has announced the immediate availability of Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 LTS, first most Long Term Supported (LTS) release of Ubuntu community flavor featuring Budgie Desktop. This release brings various customization options with Budgie Welcome and updated version of Budgie Desktop.
As an official community flavor of Ubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 will provide support for 3 years. Within this years, users can enjoy security updates and critical bug fixes from Ubuntu. Meanwhile, Ubuntu Budgie team will also provide Budgie related updates and fixes via backports repository.
