GNOME Project announced release of GNOME 3.16.2, the last bug fix release for current stable release GNOME 3.16 of Popular Open Source Desktop environment targeting GNU/Linux, BSD Desktops.
GNOME Project, through Matthias Clasen, had the pleasure of informing us about the immediate availability of the second maintenance release of the GNOME 3.16 desktop environment.
GNOME 3.16.2 is also the last official maintenance release for the 3.16 series of the acclaimed GNOME desktop environment, as the development team will concentrate their efforts on the next major version, GNOME 3.18, due for release on September 23, 2015.
