Pinguy OS 14.04.2 LTS has been released today, March 22, and the Live ISO images are now available for download. While there’s no official announcement on the distribution’s homepage at the moment of writing this article, we took it for a test drive in order to see what's new and to create a nice screenshot tour for your viewing pleasure.Powered by Linux kernel 3.13.0-46 (3.13.0-46.79), which is the latest kernel package used in the LTS (Long Term Support) release of the Ubuntu 14.04.2 (Trusty Tahr) operating system, Pinguy OS 14.04.2 brings an updated base and the latest Linux technologies and applications, all in order to keep the distribution stable and reliable.
