Fedora 26 released with GCC 7, Golang 1.8 and thousands of other improvements

Keeping the habit of publishing stable releases on every 6 months, Fedora project has released Fedora 26, latest stable release of independent GNU/Linux distribution backed by Red Hat Inc. This release brings thousands for updated packages from various upstream projects and other under the improvements to provide more reliable and stable experience to the end users.

Fedora 26 release includes variations like Workstation edition - the desktop cum laptop edition, server edition and Fedora atomic host for deploying on cloud instances. You can also find different Fedora spins and lab editions if you are looking for an alternative desktop environment or a customized distribution oriented towards some specific fields like security assessments, gaming or design respectively.
