Manjaro 17.0.2 released with updated installer and improved hardware detection

It has been almost three months since release of Manjaro 17.0 Gellivara. Now, Mr Philip Muller, head of Manjaro project has announced availability of Manjaro 17.0.2, and updated snapshot with various package updates and improvements.


The updated Manjaro installation media comes with updated packages and various other improvements like enhanced Manjaro build tools. Complete changes in Manjaro 17.0.2 can be summarized as follows:
  • Latest LTS kernel from linux49 series
  • Latest Xorg-Stack from v1.19 series
  • Latest Plasma5, Apps and Framework and QT
  • Updates to our graphical package managers
  • Enhancements and Improvements to our Manjaro Tools & Profiles
  • MHWD adopted a more efficient way to handle libglx binaries
  • Updated and new designed themes and styles
  • Updates on Calamares (see changelog)
